The Northern screamer, also knows as black-necked screamer, is a bird close to the ducks and geese.
They are from Colombia and Venezuela. It measures 86cm for a weight of 3.9kg.
It lives in swamps, lagoons, on the banks of slow flowing rivers, often surrounded by forested areas, in areas that are temporarily flooded.
Exclusively vegetarian, it eats the green parts of aquatic plants.
