The lesser white-fronted goose is a species of bird in the family of Anatidae.
We find it in Scandinavia to Siberia, the Balkans, the Caspian Sea, China, depending on the population.
The fronted goose measures between 53 and 66 cm. It looks like in every way to the white-fronted goose in smaller, with pink beak and yellow eye-ring.
It is a social species only after breeding that takes place from May. The nest is usually placed near the water, on a mound of earth.
The migration begins in September, birds arriving at their winter quarters between October and December. It is a bird of the tundra and taiga.
The lesser-white fronted goose is an endangered species.
