Barn owl – Tyto alba
The barn owls are species of the genus Tyto which constitutes itself alone, the tytoninés.
Like all Tytonidae, the barn owls have a big head and a shaped heart facial disc. Their legs are long and equipped with powerful fingers, usually with well-developed claws. The plumage is usually brown fawn and cream or white, spotted or speckled.
